The Philippine pride Puerto Princesa Underground River ranks second to South Korea’s Jeju Island in the New7Wonders of Nature official list. La Venta, the Italian geographical association, uncovered the gigantic fossils of a dugong and some crystal caves in the underground river.

PPUR is open all year round, although, the best time to go is from January to May when the weather is drier and the sea is calm, making it easier to enjoy the beauty of nature. Truly, it’s more fun in the Philippines!
